CHAPTER 8

As Yn tries to push Jungkook away, her breaths come out shaky, but Jungkook, caught in the dark depths of his obsession, Without a word, Jungkook sweeps her off her feet, carrying her forcefully in a bridal style towards the couch.. "Let me go, Jungkook!" she cries, struggling against his hold.

Yn’s voice wavers, pleading, "Jungkook, let me go! Please, don’t do this!"

Her desperate attempts to wriggle free only seem to fuel his dark obsession. He holds her wrists tightly, a mix of anger and desperation in his gaze. As he hovers over her, his voice comes out in a low, dangerous tone, “Why do you keep running from me, Yn? You belong to me

Tears start to gather in Yn's eyes as she tries to push him off, her voice trembling. “Jungkook, please… this isn’t right! You’re scaring me!”

Jungkook's patience snaps, and he tightens his hold on her wrists, pulling his tie loose and starting to bind her hands with it. “Stop fighting me, Yn. You have no idea how much I need you,” he mutters harshly.

Seeing him undress the shirt from his pants, Yn’s heart races with fear and determination. No, Yn, she tells herself in her mind, you can’t let him do whatever he wants. In one swift movement, she drives her knee hard into his stomach .

No, Yn, she thinks to herself, you can’t let him have his way.

Summoning her last bit of strength, she brings her knee up hard into his stomach. Jungkook grunts in pain, stumbling backward and falling off the couch, momentarily caught off guard.

Taking her chance, Yn scrambles to her feet, frantically fixing her shirt and hair. Without looking back, she darts to the door and quickly exits the room, leaving Jungkook behind.

Once outside, she pauses in the hallway, her heart pounding, breaths coming fast as she tries to process what just happened. She wraps her arms around herself, trembling slightly as the weight of Jungkook’s obsession sinks in. He’s changed, she thinks.

What’s happened to him? she thinks, shivering at the memory of his darkened eyes, his unrelenting grip. He’s become so dangerous… and he won’t let me go.

Lost in her thoughts, she doesn’t notice Mr. Choi approaching. His voice snaps her back to reality, his tone sharp and disapproving. “Ms. Yn, this isn’t the time for daydreaming. You should go home and prepare yourself for tonight’s event.

Forcing herself to regain composure, Yn nods quickly, suppressing her emotions. "Yes, Mr. Choi. I understand," she replies, her voice steady despite the turmoil within.

Without another glance, she hurries out of the office, leaving behind the shadow of her encounter with Jungkook and heading towards a night she knows will bring new challenges.

Back in his office, Jungkook rises from the floor, breathing heavily, his jaw clenched. In a fit of rage, he begins to destroy everything within reach – papers, glasses, even the vase on his desk. His voice echoes in the empty room as he mutters furiously, “You are mine Yn you can't run away I will keep you with me and I will make sure nobody is going to stop me from having you for myself no can stop me Not even you.”

His gaze hardens, his obsession growing stronger, a dangerous determination fueling his every move.

Taehyung ‘s POV

The scene opens in Taehyung's second mansion, a sleek, modern retreat nestled far from the city bustle. He sits on a leather sofa, posture relaxed but eyes sharp, the usual quiet confidence radiating from him. Across the low table, his father, Mr. Kim, leans forward, his gaze a mixture of irritation and expectation.

"Taehyung," Mr. Kim begins, his voice carrying a stern edge. "You can’t keep running from your responsibilities. Jeon Corporation is an essential partnership for us, and I need you there with me today."

Taehyung raises an eyebrow, uninterested, drumming his fingers lazily on the armrest. “You know I’m not involved in the business, Dad,” he says nonchalantly, looking away as if the conversation isn’t worth his attention.

Mr. Kim's jaw tightens. "Fine. But you might be interested to know that Jeon’s office has a new employee.” He pauses, smirking as he adds, “Your ex-girlfriend.”

The words hang in the air, and Taehyung’s expression shifts in an instant. His relaxed posture tenses, and his hand clenches the armrest. His heart races at the mention of Yn, the one person who always managed to break through his walls.

“Yn is… working there?” he says, trying to keep the excitement out of his voice but failing. It’s been too long since he’s seen her, too long since she walked out of his life and left him with memories he could never quite erase.

"Yes," Mr. Kim replies, hiding a smile at his son's sudden interest. "Perhaps now, you’ll care enough to attend this meeting.”

Not wanting to waste any more time, Taehyung pulls out his phone, already dialing her number. The call rings… and rings… but there’s no answer. Frustrated, he tries again, only to be met with silence. He sends a quick text: "Yn, please pick up. We need to talk." But as he stares at the screen, there’s no response.

A determined look settles in his eyes as he stands abruptly. "Fine. I’ll go,” he says, his voice hard with determination. “I’m not letting this chance slip by.”

Mr. Kim stands as well, nodding, though he’s hardly surprised by Taehyung’s reaction. "I thought so,” he says, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Whenever she’s involved, you become a different person. I just hope you won’t let her cloud your judgment."

“Don’t worry, Father,” Taehyung replies, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “I know exactly what I want, and this time, I won’t let her go so easily.”

Mr. Kim walks out, leaving Taehyung behind to gather his thoughts. Taehyung takes a moment, inhaling deeply, the excitement and anticipation building. As he steps out of the mansion, a silent promise lingers in his mind.

“Yn,” he murmurs under his breath, “this time, things will be different.”
