J-Hope stood in front of the large house, anxiously waiting for Sarang, Yuna, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, Jiwoon, and little Jihan. His hands fidgeted nervously as he glanced at his watch. He had been pacing for the last ten minutes, mumbling to himself.
Why am I nervous? It’s just them… It’s not like I’m performing at a sold-out concert or anything..." pauses "Okay, maybe I’m sweating too much. What if they notice? Oh man, I should’ve worn something lighter..."
Suga: "Hope-ah, you do realize you’re not auditioning for a drama, right? Relax. Just breathe."
Hearing J-Hope laugh nervously
"Yoongi-hyung, I'm trying, but my stomach feels like it’s full of... bees."
"Well, with your acting skills, I'm sure you could pass as a guy who’s getting attacked by bees. You should’ve been in a movie by now." Said Jin
Namjoon chuckles through the earpods, trying to help lighten the mood.
Namjoon: "Yeah, imagine you starring in ‘Bee Man: The Legend of J-Hope.’ Your power? Nervous breakdowns that make everyone laugh."
Joon , please. This is serious!"
Jin interrupts, laughing.
Jin: "Oh, right! I forgot you're the master of serious expressions! That time you pretended to be a dramatic chef with a blender? Oscar-worthy."
J-Hope rolled his eyes while saying,
"Okay, that was one time, and I was under pressure!"
Suga: "Under pressure? Dude, the blender wasn’t even plugged in."
Namjoon: "And your ‘serious’ face looked like you were constipated."
J-Hope stops pacing, leaning against the wall, chuckling despite himself.
J-Hope: "Okay, okay, I get it. I’m not winning any acting awards anytime soon."
Hearing this Jin mock-serious tone jhope
"But what about your ability to deliver those emotional monologues? Like that time you pretended you lost your keys?"
Suga: "Yeah, the tears in your eyes were almost convincing."
J-Hope (laughing now):
"Hyung! You know I really did lose my keys that day!"
Namjoon laughs so hard that even through the earpods it’s contagious.
Namjoon: "Ah, you should see yourself right now, Hobi. You look like you're about to deliver a speech on why ‘Hope is the only thing holding this room together.’"
J-Hope, now fully laughing, shakes his head.
J-Hope: "Okay, you guys win. I’m officially distracted."
Suga: "Good. Now stop acting like you're about to explode and be your usual sunshine self. We got your back."
J-Hope finally takes a deep breath, no longer pacing, feeling much more relaxed, but still slightly nervous. He checks the time again, smiling to himself.
J-Hope : "Thanks, hyungs. You're lucky you're not here in person, or I'd be attacking you with hugs right now."
J-Hope chuckled , feeling lighter as he waited for the others to arrive, earpods still filled with teasing laughter and jokes from Jin, Suga, and Namjoon.
Just as he was about to say something, he heard the soft crunch of tires on the gravel driveway. He quickly straightened up, his heart pounding with excitement.
The black SUV doors opened, and one by one, Sarang, Yuna, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jiwoon stepped out. Taehyung was carrying baby Jihan in his arms, who was sleeping peacefully, and Yuna had Yeontan cuddled close.
J-Hope!" Jimin called out cheerfully. "This is everyone."
J-Hope waved, forcing his nerves into the background. "Hey, welcome!" His eyes drifted over to Sarang, who smiled shyly, then to Taehyung, whose protective hold on Jihan sent a warmth through him. Even Jungkook, known for his intimidating presence, seemed relaxed around the group.
Everyone," Jimin gestured toward J-Hope, "this is J-Hope, my good friend. He’s the one who offered us this amazing place."
Taehyung approached first, giving a slight nod. "Thank you for letting us stay here.”
No problem!" J-Hope said, his voice a little too high-pitched, but he quickly cleared his throat. "I’m glad you could all come. Please, come inside. There’s a lot of space here. My late grandmother built this house, and I—well, I couldn’t bring myself to sell it. But when Jimin told me about you all, I thought, why not keep it in good use, right?"
Everyone nodded appreciatively, and Jungkook offered a quiet, "Thanks, man."
J-Hope smiled more confidently now. "Come on, I’ll show you around.”
J-Hope grinned, trying to play it cool. "I’m just happy everyone’s here. Let me show you around."
As they approached the front door, J-Hope unlocked it and led the group inside. The house was spacious, filled with warmth and character. Sunlight filtered through large windows, casting a welcoming glow over the wooden floors.
“This house was built by my late grandmother,” J-Hope said softly, his voice carrying a bit of nostalgia. “It’s been in my family for generations. I could never bring myself to sell it. When Jimin told me you all were looking for a place, I thought, why not offer this? It’s perfect for a fresh start.”
Sarang smiled at him, her voice warm with gratitude. “Thank you so much, Hoseok. This means the world to us.”
Taehyung, still cradling Jihan, looked around and nodded in appreciation. “It’s perfect. The space, the energy—it feels right.”
As they stepped inside, J-Hope led the group through the large, airy rooms. The house was spacious, with wooden floors that creaked slightly underfoot, but it was warm and inviting. The living room was large enough to accommodate everyone, with wide windows that looked out onto a garden his grandmother had once tended to with care.
"This place is amazing," Jiwoon commented, her sharp eyes scanning the interior. "So much space."
J-Hope beamed with pride. “Exactly. Plenty of space for the little one to grow up and a perfect spot for Yeontan to run around.” Jimin' once said that your dog name is Yeontan because he is Jimin' s Favorite
"Yeah ," Jimin replied, feeling a little more relaxed now that the ice was broken.
"My grandmother had a thing for big houses. Said it made family gatherings more fun.”
Sarang smiled warmly. "It feels like a home already."
J-Hope glanced at her, feeling something unspoken in her words. For a second, he could see the weight she carried—the past, the memories of her late husband. His gaze shifted subtly toward Taehyung, who was still holding Jihan with such tenderness. J-Hope couldn’t help but think finally, maybe this cold, closed-off guy had found his peace.
Author 's POV
The house was a sprawling, elegant retreat nestled in a serene countryside, with a cobblestone pathway leading up to a grand wooden door. Its exterior was a mix of warm brick and stone, with large windows that let in natural light. The porch was inviting, with rocking chairs and hanging plants swaying gently in the breeze. As you stepped inside, the vast living space retained a sense of warmth despite its size, thanks to deep-colored wooden floors, soft rugs, and an array of comfortable furniture centered around a grand stone fireplace.
The kitchen was a blend of rustic charm and modern luxury, with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, a massive island with bar stools, and gleaming marble countertops. The farmhouse sink looked out through a wide window that framed a view of the lush garden. Copper pots hung from a rack above the island, and open shelves displayed vintage china and cookbooks. A large oak dining table sat at one end, perfect for family meals and gatherings.
Upstairs, the bedrooms each had their own unique charm. French doors in the master bedroom opened to a wide balcony, overlooking the garden and pool below. The balcony had comfortable seating, making it the perfect spot to watch the sunset or enjoy a morning coffee while listening to the birds. Each room had high ceilings, large windows, and soft, cozy furnishings that made them feel like peaceful sanctuaries.
In the back, a small, private garden bloomed with vibrant flowers and lush greenery. There was a cozy reading nook tucked away beneath an old oak tree, with a bench surrounded by climbing roses. Nearby, a sparkling pool shimmered in the sunlight, surrounded by a stone patio with comfortable lounge chairs and a shaded seating area.
Off the main hallway, there was a quiet, intimate library. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves were filled with books of all genres, and a large bay window with a built-in cushioned seat made it the perfect spot to get lost in a good story. The scent of old leather and fresh paper filled the air, while a nearby fireplace offered warmth for cold nights spent reading.
Every corner of the house, from the garden to the library to the grand yet cozy rooms, was designed for comfort and serenity, making it a true haven of peace and warmth.
Meanwhile in Bangtan Mansion
The dimly lit office of Bangtan Mansion had an air of quiet focus. Suga, Jin, and Namjoon were seated in front of a sleek computer, watching the live feed that displayed the happenings in Sarang’s new house. The room was silent, save for the occasional clicks of the keyboard and mouse as Suga adjusted the camera angles. They had discreetly set up cameras for security, though it felt more like they were watching a reality show at this point.
Jin, sitting back with his arms crossed, grinned as he watched J-Hope nervously pacing before everyone arrived. “Look at him! He’s losing it! Hoseok’s always so full of energy, but now he looks like a nervous wreck.”
Namjoon, ever the calm leader, chuckled softly. “It’s a big deal for him. That house has so many memories. It’s not easy to just hand it over like that.”
Suga smirked, not taking his eyes off the screen. “Yeah, but he’ll be fine. He just needs to get through this initial meeting. After that, he’ll be back to his usual loud self.”
As they watched Jimin introduce himself, laughter broke out from Jin’s side. “Of course, Jimin would be the first to break the ice. Look at him. He’s already making everyone feel at home.”
Namjoon smiled warmly. “That’s Jimin for you. He has that effect on people.”
Suga zoomed in slightly on the scene, watching as Taehyung cradled Jihan in his arms. There was a softness in Taehyung’s demeanor that made Suga pause. “I’ve never seen him like this before,” he muttered, more to himself than to anyone else.
Namjoon nodded in agreement. “Yeah, it’s different, isn’t it? He’s always been so guarded, but with Jihan and Sarang, it’s like he’s finally letting himself be… vulnerable.”
Jin raised an eyebrow, watching Taehyung steal glances at Sarang whenever he thought no one was looking. “And did you notice that? He can’t stop looking at her.”
Suga smirked, leaning back in his chair. “He’s been gone for her for a long time, even if he tries to act tough. The guy’s a goner.”
Namjoon sighed contentedly. “It’s good, though. He needs this. After everything he’s been through, it’s nice to see him finding some peace.”
As the group on screen began to move into the house, laughing and chatting as they carried boxes, Jin’s expression softened. “I’m glad for them. It’s been a rough ride for all of us, but seeing them like this… it’s like a new chapter.”
Suga nodded, his eyes still on the screen. “Yeah, it’s a different kind of happiness. They deserve it.”
There was a comfortable silence between the three as they continued watching. It wasn’t about surveillance anymore—it was about witnessing their friends finally find moments of joy in the chaos of their lives.
Jin leaned forward slightly, watching J-Hope lead everyone through the house. “You know, I was worried about Hobi at first. That house has a lot of emotional baggage, but now I can see why he wanted them to have it. It’s like a passing of the torch.”
Namjoon smiled thoughtfully. “It’s a place for new memories now. And if anyone deserves to make those memories, it’s Sarang and Taehyung.”
Suga, who had been silently observing the entire time, leaned back in his chair, arms crossed over his chest. “They’ve been through hell. This moment—it’s a long time coming.”
They continued watching as the group settled into the house. Taehyung and Jihan, Yuna with Yeontan, Jimin’s infectious laughter, and even Jungkook’s youthful enthusiasm—it was a picture of family, of comfort.
Jin’s expression turned playful as he saw Jungkook raise his hand to suggest takeout. “There’s our Maknae. Always looking for the easiest way out. Does he even know how to cook?”
Namjoon laughed. “He’s probably just trying to avoid any kitchen disasters. Last time he tried cooking, the whole kitchen was a mess.”
Suga shook his head, a rare smile tugging at his lips. “At least he’s consistent.”
The three men fell into an easy silence again, watching their friends from afar. It was a peaceful moment in a life that was often far from it. For once, everything seemed calm, and that was a gift in itself.
Jin sighed happily. “I think we’re all a little envious of what they have. It’s… simple, you know?”
Namjoon nodded, his gaze thoughtful. “Yeah. But I think they’re going to need us more than ever. This peace is just the beginning. There’s still a long road ahead.”
Suga, ever the realist, added, “You’re right. But for now, let’s just enjoy this moment. They’ve earned it.”
And so, they continued watching, silently supporting from the shadows, knowing that their presence, though unseen, was always there for the ones they called family.
Namjoon was about say something when
the door creaked open, and one of Namjoon’s most trusted men stepped inside, his face tense with urgency. “Sir,” he spoke quietly, yet his tone carried the weight of something serious, “someone’s here to see you. He says it’s important.”
Namjoon’s expression darkened. He glanced at Suga and Jin, silently asking for their input. Suga raised an eyebrow but nodded, while Jin’s gaze flicked back to the surveillance screen for a brief moment before meeting Namjoon’s eyes.
Namjoon sighed, standing from his chair. “Let’s see what this is about. Shut down the system.”
Suga reached for the keyboard, swiftly typing a command that switched off the computer. The room plunged into a deeper silence, now absent of the soft whir of the machines. The three men moved toward the door with a quiet intensity, their movements calculated and cautious.
As they entered the living room, Namjoon immediately spotted the man standing near the entrance, shifting on his feet nervously. The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension, and every movement felt deliberate.
Namjoon stepped forward, his voice calm but edged with authority. “What’s this about? Speak.”
The man swallowed hard, his gaze flicking between Namjoon and the others. “Sir, I apologize for the intrusion, but someone has been asking around for you… He claims to have information—something crucial—and says he won’t speak to anyone else but you.”
Suga’s eyes narrowed as he crossed his arms. “Information? Who is this guy?”
The man shook his head. “He didn’t give a name, but he knew the details… things only an insider would know. He mentioned something about Sarang and the deal with Minhyun.
Jin’s face hardened at the mention of Sarang, stepping forward slightly. “How could anyone outside know about that? Are we sure he’s not a plant or a trap?”
Namjoon studied the man’s face, weighing the options. He took a deep breath before speaking again. “Where is he now?”
“He’s waiting just outside, sir. He insisted it was urgent.”
Suga shifted his weight, a frown tugging at his lips. “This doesn’t sit right with me, Namjoon. Too convenient.”
“I know,” Namjoon replied, his eyes scanning the room as if calculating every possible outcome. “But if he has information on Sarang, we can’t ignore it.”
Jin, always the cautious one, chimed in. “Let’s proceed carefully. We don’t let him inside—meet him on neutral ground. If this is a trap, we need to be ready.”
Namjoon nodded. “Agreed. We’ll meet him, but not here. Lead him to the outer gates. I want to keep our distance.”
The man bowed slightly. “Understood, sir. I’ll bring him there now.”
As the man hurried out of the room, the tension between the three remained palpable. Namjoon turned to Suga and Jin, his voice low but firm. “Prepare yourselves. If this goes south, we need to act fast.”
Suga smirked, a hint of confidence in his eyes. “I’m always ready.”
Jin adjusted his sleeve, his expression grim. “Let’s hope this is worth the risk.”
With that, the three of them made their way toward the outer gates, prepared for whatever awaited them.
Meanwhile
As everyone settled into their new surroundings, Taehyung’s trusted men, who had disguised themselves as regular workers, helped move in the furniture and belongings. The air was filled with a quiet sense of relief and comfort. They were here, together, in this new chapter of their lives.
J-Hope glanced at her, feeling something unspoken in her words. For a second, he could see the weight she carried—the past, the memories of her late husband. His gaze shifted subtly toward Taehyung, who was still holding Jihan with such tenderness. J-Hope found himself watching Taehyung. He caught the subtle way Taehyung’s eyes always returned to Sarang when she wasn’t looking, his gaze lingering with quiet affection. J-Hope couldn’t help but mumble again, “Finally, this cold-ass found his peace.”
J-Hope couldn’t help but think finally, maybe this cold, closed-off guy had found his peace.
He mumbled under his breath, "Coldass finally found his peace," chuckling quietly to himself as he watched Taehyung glance at Sarang with a softness that was unmistakable.
"What was that?" Jimin asked, his brow raised.
J-Hope waved it off, trying not to look caught. “I think he’s got it figured out,” J-Hope whispered to Jimin, who nodded he said quickly. "
“Yeah, he’s a natural,” Jimin replied, his eyes filled with warmth as he watched the scene unfold.
"Alright, let’s get everything in and make this place feel like home," J-Hope declared, clapping his hands together.
Jimin grinned and slung an arm over J-Hope's shoulders. "See? I told you everything would be fine."
"Yeah," Yuna agreed, looking around at the cheerful faces. "I think this is going to work out just fine.”
While Jungkook couldn’t stop himself from watching Jiwoon The way Taehyung looked at the baby with such tenderness was a side of him J-Hope hadn’t seen before. And Sarang, the way she fit into all of it—strong, warm, and completely unaware of the storm that had led Taehyung to this moment of calm. It made J-Hope realize that this was more than just a new home for them. It was the beginning of something beautiful.
Time skips
In the new house, the atmosphere was busy, yet filled with warmth and laughter. Everyone was helping set up the new place, but amidst the flurry of activity, two people couldn't seem to take their eyes off each other.
Jungkook stood by the kitchen counter, unpacking boxes and handing them over to Jiwoon, who was organizing items on the shelves. They exchanged glances, subtle yet intense, their gazes locking for just a second too long before they'd both look away, pretending to focus on their tasks.
Jiwoon noticed it first—how Jungkook's eyes lingered on her every time she moved. She could feel the heat rising in her cheeks but kept herself composed. Her heart beat a little faster every time she caught his gaze. Why can't I stop looking at him? she thought, biting her lip as she placed a set of mugs on the counter.
Jungkook, on the other hand, was trying to play it cool. He didn't understand why Jiwoon had suddenly captured his full attention, but there was something about her that made it impossible to look away. He felt an unfamiliar flutter in his chest each time her hand brushed against his as they passed items back and forth.
Neither of them noticed Jimin and Yuna standing a few feet away, silently watching the tension building between them.
Yuna nudged Jimin with a knowing smile. "They can't stop staring at each other," she whispered.
Jimin smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned against the doorframe. "You can almost feel the spa
