The morning sun softly filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm golden glow over the room. Jungkook lay quietly on his side, his head propped up on his hand, his gaze fixated on the woman nestled peacefully in his arms. Jiwoon’s head rested on his chest, her breathing steady and serene as she slept. Her hair, tousled from sleep, framed her face in gentle waves, and Jungkook couldn't help but admire the softness of her features. His lips curved into a slight smile; he had never felt such tranquility before, as if the world outside ceased to exist in this perfect moment.
This is it,” Jungkook thought to himself, his fingers absentmindedly tracing circles on Jiwoon’s shoulder. “The best morning of my life.” He didn’t want to move, and didn't want to disturb the peace of having Jiwoon in his arms like this. His mind wandered to everything that had led him here, to this moment. The chaos, the struggles, all of it seemed worth it when he looked at her now. There was something about the way she fit perfectly against him, like she belonged there.
After some time, Jiwoon stirred slightly. Jungkook paused, his eyes softening as she slowly blinked herself awake. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at him, a sleepy smile spreading across her lips.
“Good morning,” Jiwoon whispered, her voice groggy but sweet.
Jungkook chuckled softly, his hand gently pushing her hair behind her ear. “Good morning, beautiful.”
Jiwoon stretched lazily, still lying against him. She looked up at him again, her smile widening as she noticed the warmth in his gaze. “How long have you been awake?” she asked, her voice teasing.
“Long enough to know this is my favorite morning ever,” Jungkook replied, his tone low and sincere. “I could stay like this forever.”
Jiwoon’s cheeks flushed slightly at his words, and she pressed herself closer against his chest, closing her eyes for a moment longer. “If only we didn’t have the cafe to open today,” she muttered playfully.
Jungkook sighed dramatically, but the smile never left his face. “The cafe can wait a little longer. I’m kind of enjoying this.”
Jiwoon laughed, her hand resting on his chest as she pushed herself up slightly to meet his eyes. “You’re always trying to bend the rules,” she teased. “But you know I can’t be late—it’s my turn to open up.”
Jungkook’s hand slipped to her waist, holding her gently. “I know, I know,” he said, a mock tone of defeat in his voice. “But I still think we deserve a little more time.”
Jiwoon shifted slightly in his arms, her hand resting on his chest for support. Her gaze lazily wandered down his body before pausing on his right arm. Jungkook’s tattooed arm lay exposed against the sheets, and something about the intricate designs captivated her. She reached out almost instinctively, her fingertips brushing across the dark ink.
"I love your tattoos..." Jiwoon said quietly, her fingers tracing the bold lines. "They're beautiful."
Jungkook watched her, his eyes following the movement of her hand as she admired the artwork etched into his skin. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips, but he said nothing, allowing her to take her time. There was a certain intimacy in the way she touched him, a silent communication between them.
Jiwoon’s touch grew more deliberate as she trailed her fingers along the patterns, a mix of awe and admiration in her expression. "I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo myself," she confessed, her voice thoughtful. "Something small, but meaningful... maybe something like this."
Jungkook’s smile deepened, and he shifted slightly, bringing her closer. His voice was soft but confident as he responded, "You’ll get all your favorite tattoos soon."
Jiwoon looked up at him, her eyes widening in surprise. "Really?" she asked, her smile widening with a hint of excitement.
Jungkook nodded, his hand lifting to cup her face gently. "I’ll make sure of it," he said, his thumb brushing across her cheek. "Whatever you want, it’s yours."
Her heart skipped a beat at his words, a sense of warmth and comfort settling over her as she looked into his eyes. For a moment, neither of them said anything, simply enjoying the closeness, the way their worlds had intertwined in this quiet, stolen morning.
They lay like that for a few more moments, wrapped in each other’s warmth and comfort, savoring the tranquility. Neither wanted to break the bubble of peace they had found in each other.
Eventually, Jiwoon sighed and reluctantly sat up, stretching her arms above her head. "We should get up... I have to open the café today."
Jungkook groaned playfully, pulling her back down against his chest for a moment longer. "Five more minutes?"
She laughed softly, her hand gently pushing against his chest. "If we stay any longer, we’ll never leave this bed."
"Maybe that’s not such a bad idea," he teased, his eyes glinting mischievously as he gazed up at her.
Jiwoon rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the smile on her face as she finally stood up, pulling him along with her. "Come on, lazy. Let’s get ready."
They both freshened up, exchanging playful banter as they got dressed. Jungkook, who usually preferred sleek black outfits, chose something more casual—ripped jeans and a loose shirt—while Jiwoon opted for simple jeans and a soft, oversized sweater. Once ready, they headed to the kitchen for a quick breakfast.
"I’ll make coffee," Jiwoon offered, tying her hair up into a loose bun as she moved around the kitchen.
Jungkook watched her with a smile, leaning against the counter. "I could get used to this," he said, his voice filled with contentment.
She glanced at him over her shoulder, raising an eyebrow. "Used to what?"
"This," he gestured to the two of them. "Waking up together, having breakfast... just being normal for once."
Jiwoon smiled softly, handing him a cup of coffee. "I like it too."
They ate a simple breakfast—toast, eggs, and coffee—talking casually about the day ahead. Despite the looming responsibilities and the hectic nature of their lives, the morning felt unusually peaceful.
After breakfast, they grabbed their coats and headed out into the crisp morning air, walking hand in hand toward Sarang’s café. Jiwoon squeezed Jungkook’s hand as they approached the familiar building, her smile brightening.
"It’s my turn to open today," Jiwoon said, pulling out the keys to unlock the café door.
Jungkook smiled, watching her with admiration as she moved with ease, flipping the sign to "Open" and preparing the café for the morning rush.
"I’ll hang around for a while," Jungkook said, leaning against the counter.
But just so you know, I’m not letting you out of my sight today.”
Jiwoon raised an eyebrow, giving him a playful glance. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”. Jiwoon shot him a playful look.
While Jungkook just grinned, nodding his head he said "I’m full of surprises."
She laughed, shaking her head. "We’ll see about that. But for now, just try not to scare the customers."
Jungkook smirked, leaning closer as he whispered, "I’ll be on my best behavior. Promise."
Jiwoon rolled her eyes with a smile, giving him a light shove. "You better be."
With that, the day began, but neither of them could forget the quiet, perfect morning they had shared—a small, precious moment in the midst of their complicated lives.

Meanwhile in Sarang's house
Sarang was in the kitchen, her hands gently guiding Jihan as he playfully reached for the plate of cookies on the counter. Yeontan barked softly from the living room, his small tail wagging as if sensing the excitement of the morning. Sarang smiled warmly at her son, placing a kiss on his forehead before turning to the stove to make his breakfast.
Yeon-ah, don't make a mess!" she called out softly, glancing over her shoulder as she wiped her hands on a towel. The morning light streamed through the windows, casting a soft glow across the room. It was peaceful, a comforting start to what seemed like an ordinary day.
Yuna emerged from her room, dressed and ready, adjusting her scarf as she approached Sarang. "Everything set for today?" Yuna asked, grabbing a mug from the counter.
Sarang nodded, a content smile on her face. "Almost. Just need to get Jihan ready, and we're good to go." She lifted Jihan into her arms, and he giggled, resting his small head on her shoulder.
Before Yuna could respond, a sudden knock on the door interrupted their routine. The knock was firm and somewhat urgent, causing both women to exchange a glance. Sarang’s brows furrowed in confusion as she carried Jihan toward the door. Yuna followed behind her, their curiosity piqued.
When Sarang opened the door, she was surprised to see Mr. Haesung standing on the threshold, looking unusually tense. His usually calm demeanor seemed rattled, and his eyes held a heavy burden.
"Mr. Haesung?" Sarang greeted him, her voice laced with concern. "What brings you here so early?"
He sighed deeply, running a hand through his salt-and-pepper hair before stepping inside. "I’m sorry to drop in unannounced, Sarang. Yuna," he nodded briefly to acknowledge her before continuing, "I didn’t know where else to go. I… I have some difficult news.”
Sarang gently placed Jihan down, who immediately ran over to Yuna, sensing the shift in the mood. She turned her full attention to Mr. Haesung, worry seeping into her expression. "What’s wrong? What happened?"
Mr. Haesung took a deep breath, his shoulders slumping under the weight of his words. "My wife... she’s been ill for some time now. It’s worse than we thought. The medical bills have piled up, and I—" His voice faltered slightly, and he clenched his fists before continuing,
He looks at Sarang, the weight of his decision clear on his face.
Mr. Haesung: "I’ve made up my mind. I... I have to sell this house."
Yuna’s eyes widen in shock, and Sarang’s breath catches in her throat.
Yuna: (almost in disbelief) "Sell the house? But... this is your home. Our home. Where will you go?”
"I have no choice but to sell the house. It’s the only way I can cover her treatment.”
The room fell into a heavy silence. Sarang’s heart sank as she processed his words, the gravity of the situation dawning on her. She glanced at Yuna, who had gone pale, her usual strength faltering at the news.
Sarang feels a jolt in her chest. This house has been their sanctuary, a place where they built new memories. Jihan looks up at her innocently, unaware of the sudden shift in their lives.
Sarang (softly): “You’re selling the house?”
Mr. Haesung nods, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and regret.
Mr. Haesung: “I wish there was another way, but I can’t lose her. I’ve tried everything. I’m sorry, Sarang. I know how much this place means to you
Yuna steps forward, her voice calm but firm.
Yuna: “Mr. Haesung, we understand. Family comes first. But… is there no other option? You’ve been like a father to us. We’ll help however we can.”
Sarang looks down at Jihan, feeling the weight of the situation pressing against her chest. She kneels down to his level, brushing his hair back gently, her mind racing. She had built a life here, one that felt safe after so much loss.
Sarang: softly "Mr. Haesung, we understand. Family comes first. We’ll move out as soon as possible."
Yuna: nodding "Don’t worry about us. We’ll figure something out."
Mr. Haesung looks at them with gratitude before leaving. As the door closes behind him, the air becomes tense. Before they can process it, Jimin and Taehyung enter the house.
Jimin: concerned "What happened? You both look upset.”
Without warning, Yuna rushes towards Jimin, wrapping her arms around him tightly. Her sobs break through the silence as she buries her face in his chest. Jimin tenses up for a moment, but then his arms encircle her, gently pulling her closer.
Yuna: crying "We have to leave this house, Jimin. We don’t know where we’ll go."
Jimin hates seeing her like this. Her tears break his resolve, and he kisses her lips softly, wiping away her tears with his thumb. His voice is calm but firm.
Jimin: softly "Yuna, don’t cry. We’ll find a new place for you and Sarang. I won’t let anything happen to either of you, I promise.” I hate seeing you cry, baby you know that right?? Please stop crying baby. We'll figure this out, okay? I’ll arrange a place for you and Sarang. Don’t worry.”
Yuna nodded against his chest, her sobs slowing. “I just… I don’t want to leave this place. We have so many memories here.”
"I know, but this is just a house. We’ll make new memories. The important thing is that we stay together," Jimin reassured her, stroking her hair softly.
Meanwhile, Sarang stood quietly, her mind processing everything. Taehyung noticed her silence and walked over to her. "Sarang," he said softly, his voice like a balm to her frayed nerves. "I know this is tough, but we’ll get through it. You don’t have to handle it all by yourself."
Sarang looked up at him, her lips twitching into a weak smile. "Thank you, Taehyung. I know things will be okay, it’s just... this place holds so many memories of him," she whispered, her voice trembling with unspoken emotion.
Taehyung’s gaze softened, understanding the weight of her words. "You don’t have to forget those memories, Sarang. Wherever you go, they’ll always be with you," he said, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Suddenly, they felt a tug at Taehyung’s trousers. Jihan had crawled over, babbling in his tiny voice, his little hands pulling at Taehyung’s leg. Taehyung grinned, instantly picking him up and holding him close. Jihan giggled, nestling into his arms as if he belonged there.
"Looks like someone wants my attention," Taehyung chuckled, hugging Jihan tightly. The little boy snuggled into him, his chubby hands gripping Taehyung’s shirt.
Sarang watched them with a warm smile. "He really likes you," she said softly.
"I think it’s mutual," Taehyung replied, his eyes tender as he looked at Jihan, then back at Sarang.
After a few moments of quiet, Jimin and Yuna rejoin them. Jimin gently kisses the top of Yuna’s head, his hand still resting on her waist.
Jimin: determined "Let’s go. Jiwoon and Jungkook are waiting for us at the cafe. We’ll figure everything out together consoling and gathering their things, they all made their way to the cafe.

In Sarang 's cafe
The bell above the café door chimed softly as Jiwoon handed the last customer their drink, her eyes flickering to the entrance. She saw Taehyung, Jimin, Yuna, and Sarang entering the café, along with Jihan holding onto Taehyung's hand and Yeontan trotting at their heels. Jiwoon was about to greet them when she noticed the tense expressions on Yuna and Sarang’s faces, their usual smiles replaced by a quiet gloom. Her instincts immediately kicked in.
What happened?” Jiwoon asked, concerned about lacing her voice as she walked over, drying her hands with a towel.
Jungkook, who had been preparing an order, glanced over, noticing the shift in the air as well. His brow furrowed slightly as he moved closer, silently watching the scene unfold.
Their usually bright expressions were clouded with worry, their faces pale. It immediately set off alarm bells in Jiwoon’s mind, and her chest tightened with concern.
Taehyung and Jimin exchanged glances before Jimin sighed, stepping forward to explain. "Sarang and Yuna have to move out of their house. Mr. Haesung needs the money for his wife’s operation."
The tension in the air is palpable. It’s clear that this situation isn’t just a small inconvenience. Sarang and Yuna are not only losing a home; they're being uprooted from a place filled with memories and comfort.
Jiwoon's heart sank at the news. Her thoughts raced, knowing how difficult it was to find housing, especially in the area they were in. The neighborhood was pricey, and even getting a decent place nearby would be a struggle.
"Move out?" Jungkook, who had been quietly observing, joined the conversation, his brow furrowed in concern.
Sarang, her voice small and tired, nodded. "We don’t have a choice... The operation is urgent.”
Yuna kept silent, but her silence was heavy with stress. Jiwoon could see the weight of responsibility resting on her friend's shoulders, a burden she wished she could lift.
Jimin quickly spoke up again, his voice strong and reassuring. "But don’t worry. I know someone who can help. We’ll sort it out."
Sarang and Yuna both turned to him, their gazes filled with hope and uncertainty. "Are you sure, Jimin?" Yuna asked, her voice barely above a whisper
Yeah, I’ve got it handled," Jimin assured them with a soft smile. "We’ll figure something out. Just trust me."
Jiwoon exhaled a breath she didn’t realize she was holding, feeling a bit of the tension ease at Jimin's confidence. Sarang and Yuna, though still worried, visibly relaxed, as if a small part of the heavy weight had been lifted off their shoulders.
Taehyung gently placed a hand on Sarang’s back, his presence steady and comforting. "We’re all here for you. You don’t have to do this alone."
Sarang glanced at him, her eyes softening with gratitude. "Thank you, Tae."
For a moment, the group stood in a quiet bubble of shared concern and reassurance. But slowly, the sounds of the busy café drew them back to the present.
"Let’s not lose heart," Jiwoon said, her usual energy returning as she clasped her hands. "We have customers to handle, and they’re probably wondering why we’re all standing here like statues."
Yuna smiled faintly at Jiwoon’s attempt to lift the mood. "Yeah, let’s get to work."
As the café started to fill with more customers, the group dispersed, returning to their roles. Jiwoon and Jungkook resumed their positions behind the counter, quickly moving to fulfill orders. Jimin handled the back-end work, while Taehyung watched over Jihan and Yeontan as they settled in a cozy corner.
Despite the worry looming over them, everyone moved with a quiet determination, their unspoken bond growing stronger as they faced yet another challenge together.
30 minutes later
Sarang, wiping down a table, caught Jimin’s eye. "Thank you, Jimin," she said softly, her voice carrying a depth of gratitude that words alone couldn’t convey.
Jimin waved her off with a grin. "Hey, don’t mention it. You and Yuna deserve some peace."
And with that, the café continued its usual rhythm, though the air felt lighter, filled with hope and the quiet promise of better days ahead.
Meanwhile Minho's Pov
The room was dimly lit, with only the soft glow of a desk lamp illuminating the clutter of papers and the hum of multiple computer screens. Yeojun sat at his desk, eyes focused on the lines of code he was running. The quiet ticking of the clock on the wall marked the only sound in the room until the door swung open gently. Without looking up, Yeojun muttered, "You're early, hyung."
Minho stepped into the room, carrying two cups of coffee. He placed one beside Yeojun's hand and sat down opposite him. "Figured you'd need this," Minho said, his voice calm, eyes scanning Yeojun's focused expression.
Yeojun took the coffee but didn’t break his concentration from the screen. "How's the tracking going?" Minho asked, leaning back slightly in his chair.
"Almost done," Yeojun replied, his fingers tapping away at the keyboard. "Bangtan Mansion's security system is tricky, but I've bypassed most of their firewalls."
Minho gave a short nod but stayed quiet for a moment, sipping his coffee. Then, as if remembering something, he added, "I met Jiwoon yesterday."
That got Yeojun’s attention. His fingers slowed, and he raised an eyebrow. "Jiwoon? What did she want?"
"She asked me to do you a favor," Minho said, voice measured.
Yeojun leaned back in his chair, finally giving his full attention to Minho. "A favor? From me?"
Minho nodded. "Yeah, she needs you to find information on three guys
Yeojun chuckled, tilting his head. "Jiwoon? Asking about boys? And not just one, but three?" His amusement was clear. "That’s... unusual."
Minho smirked, shaking his head. "It’s not what you think," he replied. "They’ve recently started working at Sarang’s cafe. She just wants a background check on them."
Yeojun snorted lightly and went back to his computer. "Got it. I’ll take care of it."
Satisfied, Minho stood up and placed a file on the desk. As he turned to leave, Yeojun’s voice stopped him.
"Hyung," Yeojun called, his tone suddenly serious. Minho paused, his hand on the doorknob but not turning back.
"Who is this guy you’re really after?" Yeojun asked, his eyes narrowing as if piecing something together.
Minho paused, his hand hovering near the door handle. A tense silence stretched between them as Minho took a deep breath.
“Dig everything about that guy, Jeon Jungkook,” Minho said, his voice carrying the weight of something serious.
Yeojun’s fingers hovered over his keyboard, eyebrows raised in surprise. “Jeon Jungkook?” he repeated. He could sense the gravity in Minho’s voice but didn’t press for details. “Got it, hyung. “I’ll start right away , I’ll dig into everything," he promised.
Without another word, Minho left the cabin, not turning back. As the door clicked shut, Yeojun leaned forward, eyes narrowing at the screen. The task ahead suddenly felt far more significant.

Meanwhile in Bangtan Mansion
Jin's POV:
Jin walked through the hallway, tension simmering beneath his calm exterior. Jungkook hadn’t returned to the mansion last night, nor had he called. It wasn’t like him to disappear without a word, and the unease gnawed at Jin's thoughts. As he approached the main door, he noticed J-Hope pacing back and forth, just as troubled.
"Have you heard anything from him?" Jin asked quietly.
J-Hope shook his head, frustration evident in his eyes. "Nothing, hyung. I'm starting to get worried."
Suddenly, the familiar roar of Jungkook's car echoed through the courtyard. Both men rushed outside, only to stop in their tracks when they saw that it was Suga, not Jungkook, stepping out of the driver's seat.
Jin's brows furrowed in confusion. "Yoongi?" he called out. "What are you doing with Jungkook's car?"
Suga met Jin's eyes calmly, though his expression was unusually tense. "Let's get inside, hyung. We need to talk."
Without another word, the three of them entered the living hall. The silence was heavy as Jin watched Suga sit down, the weight of what he was about to say evident in his demeanor. Jin’s heart tightened with worry.
"Where’s Jungkook?" Jin asked again, sitting across from him. "What’s going on?"
Suga sighed, rubbing the back of his neck before speaking. "I met Jungkook. He’s decided to stay with Jiwoon for a few days. He won’t be coming back to the mansion anytime soon."
Jin blinked in surprise, momentarily caught off guard. "Wait... so the brat’s so in love with that girl that he’s ditching his hyungs?" Jin tried to smile, masking the concern building inside him.
Suga nodded, but his face remained serious. "Yeah, he’s become a lovesick pup for her, hyung. But we need to be careful about this. If any of our rivals find out Jungkook’s whereabouts, it could put both of them in danger. We have to protect them."
Jin leaned back, processing the information. His instincts told him something wasn’t right. He trusted Jungkook to be cautious, but Jiwoon’s connection to their world made her a target, too.
Suga's POV:
Suga watched as Jin absorbed the news, masking his concern behind a stoic expression. His gut twisted; he wasn’t telling Jin everything. Jungkook had been restless, torn between his duties and his growing feelings for Jiwoon. The fact that he chose to hide away with her now made Yoongi anxious.
"We’ll need to keep this quiet," Suga added, locking eyes with Jin. "If anyone finds out where Jungkook is, they’ll use it against him—and her. We can’t afford to let that happen."
Jin gave a curt nod, though his mind seemed distant, already planning ways to secure the mansion and ensure no one outside their circle got wind of this. But before Suga could speak again, something caught his attention—a slight shuffle in the background.
His eyes darted toward the far corner of the living room, but nothing seemed out of place. The maid, who had been cleaning quietly in the background, appeared to be absorbed in her work.
Still, the uneasy feeling gnawed at him.
Maid’s POV:
As the maid scrubbed the surface, her ears perked up at the conversation between the men. Her heart raced as she pieced together what they were saying. So Jungkook wasn’t going to be in the mansion for a few days, and he’d be alone with that girl, Jiwoon.
Without making a sound, she moved silently out of the living room, heading to a hidden corner of the mansion where no one would see her. Glancing around to ensure she was alone, she quickly pulled out her phone, dialing a number she knew all too well.
"He’s not staying in the mansion for a few days," she whispered urgently into the phone, her voice trembling with excitement and malice. "Find him and kill him—and that fucking girlfriend of his, too."
The voice on the other side responded with a simple, "Okay." They hung up without another word.
The maid tucked her phone away, her heartbeat slowing as she calmed herself down. With a practiced ease, she walked back into the living room, resuming her duties as though nothing had happened. The men continued their discussion, oblivious to the danger that had just been set in motion.

Meanwhile Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung 's Pov
[Few hours before closing the cafe ..]
The gentle hum of chatter fills the air, accompanied by the soothing scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. Jiwoon cracks a joke, her laughter ringing across the cafe, prompting Sarang and Yuna to giggle, their joy infectious. Yeontan rests peacefully in Sarang’s lap, his small body occasionally shifting as Sarang pats him softly. Yuna munches happily on her favorite sandwich, while Jiwoon sips her coffee, her sharp eyes flickering with amusement.
In the far corner of the cafe, three men sit quietly, each immersed in their own thoughts, admiring the women across the room. Their expressions, though stoic, reveal the deep emotions brewing beneath.
Jimin, leaning back in his seat, his gaze soft as he watches Yuna, speaks first. "I love seeing her like this," he murmurs. "Her smile, her laugh… I couldn’t stand it when she used to cry. It tore me apart every time.”
Taehyung, sitting beside him with Jihan in his lap, smiles at Jimin's words, though his attention is still on Sarang. He plays with Jihan's little fingers absentmindedly.
“I know the feeling. I hated seeing Sarang’s face when Mr. Haesung told her to leave the house." His expression darkens at the memory, fingers gently ruffling Jihan’s hair. "That was the hardest part. Sarang tried to hide it, but I saw the pain in her eyes. But she’s stronger than she looks.”
Jungkook, sitting silently, his fingers tracing the rim of his coffee cup, finally speaks, his voice lower, more intense. His gaze is fixed on Jiwoon, dark eyes filled with admiration and something deeper.
“Jiwoon’s been tense too. She tries to hide it, but I can tell This whole situation has been weighing on her. But...” He glances at Taehyung, his lips curving into a small, appreciative smirk. “You did a great job, hyung. It's better if they shift from that place and come to our area.” them to shift. It’s safer where we live, and closer to us.”
Taehyung shrugs, still focused on Jihan, though his lips twitch into a small smile.
Jimin chuckles, "The real question is, who's going to play the part of the dumb house owner?"
Taehyung grins, “I know someone who could pull it off. Don’t worry about that.”
There’s a brief pause, the three men sipping their drinks in comfortable silence, their gazes naturally drifting back to the women they care about.
Suddenly, Jungkook breaks the silence again, his voice decisive.
“I’m going to stay with Jiwoon from now on.”
Both Jimin and Taehyung glance at him, their eyes widening slightly in surprise. They shift their gaze toward Jiwoon, still laughing with the others, oblivious to the discussion happening across the cafe.
Jimin smirks, shaking his head. "You’ve got a tough one on your hands, Jungkook. She’s not going to be easy to handle.” Jimin raises an eyebrow, amused. “She’s a tough one, Jungkook. Are you sure you can handle her?”
Jungkook doesn’t hesitate, his voice steady and filled with quiet resolve.
“And that’s exactly why I like her, Hyung.”
Taehyung, finally looking up from Jihan, meets Jungkook’s eyes. His voice is softer now, a note of concern underlying and a hint of warning in his tone, but also respect.
"Just… be careful, alright? She’s smart, and things are more complicated now."
Jungkook nods, still gazing at Jiwoon as if she’s the only one in the room. "I will.” his eyes lingering on Jiwoon, his expression softening ever so slightly.
Jimin straightens up, turning to both men, his tone shifting back to business.
“Alright, guys, I’ve got an announcement to make tonight. We’ll meet at the mansion.”
Jungkook gives a quick nod in response, already lost in his thoughts again, while Jimin stretches and finishes his drink.
Across the room, the women’s laughter continues, their light conversation blending into the warm atmosphere of the cafe. To the outside world, everything seems peaceful, but in that corner, each man silently makes a vow—whatever it takes, they’ll protect the ones they love.
For a moment, the café is filled with a sense of quiet determination. The three men share a glance, an unspoken bond forming between them. Each knows that, no matter the challenges ahead, they are ready to face anything for the women they love.
The future may be uncertain, but
in that moment, there is an unspoken promise: no matter what, they will be there for them, at any cost.
