Did he kill Suzy too?

The thought kept lingering in my mind for days but I refused to believe so. He wouldn't just kill someone innocent now .. would he?

I couldn't help but notice the changes in my surroundings which included Mark and his gang were nowhere to be seen as if they never existed.

And lia.

There was no sign of her either. I was interrogated by her classmates that they hadn't seen her for days and that's when the feeling in my chest tightened but I kept brushing it away nonetheless.

The car was parked on the same spot and my bodyguards thus escorted me to the door as per my 'husbands' orders. It had been a long time since we had a real conversation, especially since that day.

And I bet he'd noticed the change too.

So I cleared my throat before speaking. "Ahem .. I wanted to ask something?" And he passed a smug smile which I wanted to wipe off so badly.

But I am in the middle of an investigation here so yeah beat it.

"When are you taking me to Busan? That day you never gave me a proper answer"

It was silent for a few beers before he responded.

"Not anytime soon .. I apologize. I've work matters and look you have exams coming too so when you're done with your semester let's talk about it then"

In easy words it was a big fat 'no' And once again the unwanted thoughts rose to the surface, acquiring much of my mind and making me restless.

I've seen him kill people ... right before my eyes. It ain't that much of a bother for him but why the hell jisoo ...?

Days passed and the tightening feeling in my chest never wanted to let go. My thoughts became chaotic and I started to grow distant from jungkook.

Maybe he noticed, maybe he didn't. He didn't come home at times and most of the time he was on his phone barking orders. The only time we were together was at night when he hugged me to sleep which I started to despise now.

As usual the mafia was on his phone when he dropped me planting a quick goodbye kiss on my cheek and driving and that's when realisation hit me.

He drove off before I made it inside the college. I ... I am outside and the guards are there. I am ... free. I can flee if I want and no one would know.

I looked around taking in my surroundings and I don't know when did I grow this brave but I'm doing what I want now. I will go to Busan and see it myself. The assumptions are killing me inside.

I walked backwards with fast steps until I bumped into something with an 'ow' escaping my mouth and there he was standing before me.

"Hey"

"Hi baekhyun"

"Long time no see dude"

"Yeah .. I'm sorry I'm in a hurry let's talk some other time hm"

I started to walk away but was pulled back by my wrist.

"College's this way silly"

"I know but I have to be somewhere else"

I wish he could see that I was in a hurry even if he didn't let me go.

"Hey everything's okay? .. you seem disturbed"

I sighed and murmured 'I really need to leave now' and then he proposed.

"How bout I drive you?" I was tempted to say no but I agreed not wanting to waste my time anymore.

The train station wasn't far away. I was quick to buy a ticket as the train would be leaving at fifteen. Baekhyun sat beside me passing me juice and snacks.

"I hope whatever it is turns out good"

"I hope too"

I know he wanted to ask a lot of things but I had to answers to give so we sat in silence till the train arrived and I hugged him.

"Thank you bae" Guess it was a goodbye hug after all. Only if Suzy 's not dead things might turn out different. Let's be optimistic ... Nothing happened to her. I'm positive.

"Bye y/n"

The phone call ended and I breathed a sigh and my gaze dropped onto the passenger seat noticing the lil thingy lying on the seat. And I smiled.

It's been weeks since we actually talked and I'm sorry to hear about that. I really am. Guess I should make up for that now. A surprise date will work out fine.

"Let's take you back to your missy" The phone smiled back at me and I drove back. Once I was in the grounds I called Ryle asking where they were which he replied with

"I'm in college"

"I know. Where's y/n? Bring her to the gate. I'm waiting for her and yes don't tell her I'm here"

"Boss ... what are you talking about? She never came"

"I dropped her off about half an hour ago myself--- check the ladies restroom for me will you?" The realisation settled in my nerves and I tried to keep my rage in.

No way she ran away ... again.

The phone buzzed after a few minutes. "No sign of her in the restroom, not even in the cafeteria or library" And there I lost my senses.

The headmaster jumped after seeing me. "I need to check the CCTV at this instant" No one had the audacity to say no to me and Ryle was right she never made it in.

And there she stood with a man outside and I clenched my fists seeing her drive off with the baekhyun guy. She really has the talent to get on my nerves.

"Run all you want cause when I find you, you'll regret it"
